Our Story

Located in the heart of Dania Beach, Florida, our shop was founded by Aloni Matzon and Sarah Akiba Benaim, alongside their spouses Danielle Matzon and Adam Benaim, who came together with a shared vision: to create a space that feels warm, familiar, and deeply appreciated—the way you feel when you’re with family.

The space itself holds an even deeper meaning. Built within a location owned by Sarah’s father, Charlie Akiba, the foundation of Café Papa is rooted in family from the ground up. The name carries that spirit forward—Aloni’s father lovingly calls him “Papa,” a simple yet powerful connection that unites both families and became the heart behind our brand.

Our brand proudly pays homage to all of the Papas; the leaders, protectors, storytellers, jokesters, and everyday heroes who shape who we are. “Papa, Thanks So Much” is more than a name; it’s a love letter to the wisdom, strength, and heart they bring into the world.

Here, simplicity meets intention and community. The ingredients are pure. The energy is grounding. And every sip is an invitation to slow down, savor, and give thanks.
